Skill Nation 1.0 is an accelerator focused on training and empowering two hundred Nigerian and African Entrepreneurs by 2025. The Accelerator Program will run for three months, providing an intensive and immersive learning experience for participants. The program will cover key aspects of entrepreneurship, including business ideation, market research, business model development, financial management, marketing strategies, and pitch presentation skills.
Why Nigeria?
Combined reports of the IMF, the ITA and the World Bank show that Nigeria relies on $10 billion of imports to meet its food and agricultural production shortfalls; is regarded as Africa’s largest ICT market with about 82% of the continent’s telecoms subscribers and 29% of internet usage; houses a total of 85 million people without access to grid electricity; and bears over 30% of the global malaria disease burden.
What we’ll Offer
Skill Nation will focus on the four cardinal areas of agriculture, renewable energy, ICT and healthcare, providing opportunities for selected entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and for investors to find their next 100x gems in Africa.
Engage
The program will culminate in an Idea Pitch Competition, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their business ideas to a panel of judges comprising industry experts and potential investors.
