In a world where ideas shape nations and voices spark revolutions, the ability to speak, persuade, and defend one’s thoughts is no longer optional—it’s essential. Yet, for many young people across Nigeria and Africa, platforms that nurture this skill remain scarce. That’s why One Youth Global launched the Schools and Students Interaction Debate Tour—an initiative designed to take debate and public speaking directly to the heart of secondary schools.

This tour is more than just speeches and arguments. It is about building confidence, sharpening critical thinking, and inspiring a culture of dialogue among the next generation of African leaders. Through interactive training sessions, students learn the fundamentals of debate and public speaking. Then, in vibrant mock debate sessions, they watch, practice, and engage—transforming theory into action. Each visit also opens space for questions and answers, giving students the chance to interact, clarify, and discover the power of their voices.

Our Vision

The vision is clear: to make debate popular in secondary schools across Nigeria and Africa—equipping young people with the courage to speak and the wisdom to lead. Starting in Ebonyi State, the tour is laying the foundation for a continental movement where dialogue replaces silence, and persuasion replaces passivity.
