Amina is an accounting professional passionate about helping others through advisory services. Originally from Ukraine, she moved to the United States in 2014 in pursuit of the American Dream. Amina worked in various industries including fast food, hospitality, and transportation before discovering her love for accounting.
She holds an Associate of Business Administration with honors from Dallas College. Amina gained practical experience at a Dallas CPA firm. She currently works part-time at Bright Balance Accounting while finishing her accounting degree and will embark as Senior Accountant on a full- time basis upon graduation in May 2024.
Amina excels at team collaboration, problem-solving, and time management. She is self- driven and highly organized. Amina is currently pursuing her Master’s in Accounting at SMU's Cox School of Business to become CPA (Certified Public Accountant) eligible. She aims to leverage her skills in accounting consulting and advisory services.
Amina has a heart for serving others, evidenced by her volunteer work at various conferences organized by International Students Inc. She feels strongly called to make disciples of all nations. Through her diverse work experience, Amina has confirmed accounting as the professional avenue through which she can fulfill her passion for service.
In her free time, Amina enjoys singing, worship music, traveling, and baking desserts. She is eager to apply her technical accounting skills and interpersonal abilities to empower others' financial success. Her ultimate career goal is to utilize her CPA license, perseverance, and care for people to make a positive impact in the Kingdom of God.
